We are excited with the opportunities we have had to be a people that G-town wonders how they ever got along without us (that’s one of our vision statements). We were able to give away two hundred bags of cotton candy at the National Night Out event that was designed to foster relationships between first responders and their communities. We have been collecting items for an area food bank and will be delivering those supplies this week. Towards the end of August, we will be giving away bags that are filled with practical items for adults in need. I am looking forward to helping in the community by assistant coaching the JV soccer team at Goffstown High School beginning this week. Along with these great opportunities that the church has had, we had two families host neighborhood ice cream parties to build relationships.
In just a few weeks we are having our first baptism, we are excited for the few people that will take this important step of obedience in following Jesus. We will be borrowing a large portable tank and include the baptisms during the Sunday service time. Please pray that those who are planning to be baptized will have friends and family come with open hearts to follow Jesus in deeper ways or put their faith in Jesus suffering for their sin and conquering death through his resurrection.
The Restore church family is growing numerically but more importantly in love! Thanks for praying and caring about your brothers and sisters in the G-town area.
