New Hampshirites rank 5th in the nation for the amount of ice cream they consume. The statistic held true for our neighborhood here in Goffstown with the “1st Ever, 1st Ave, July 1st Ice Cream Bash” being a great success. We had over 30 adults and kids stop in and enjoy a bowl of ice cream as some neighbors who had lived near each other for many years were meeting for the first time. We are excited to get to know so many and are looking forward to building relationships with them.
I asked for prayer last week for a meeting with a gentleman about a facility to rent, the conversation went well as I was able to share how Restore Church’s vision is for the community to wonder how they ever got along without us. Please pray for wisdom as I look for a place that would fit the needs of our Church as we anticipate Jesus adding many people to this local church.
This week begins Pray and Play, a time where moms and kids will meet at our house for an hour of prayer and then go to a local park and play. The goal is to engage with area moms about Restore.
Here are a few things to bring before our heavenly Father this week:
- That the people who make up Restore church would be soul-conscious of everyone we meet and take every opportunity we have to make Jesus famous.
- We are making progress on our website. Pray that we would be able to pull together the right content and design that will relate well with the people of G-town.
- We want to get some outreach activities nailed down but need to get a few details wrapped up. Pray for the movie night, car wash, and a team of people who want to help with doing some community surveys.
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”
