We have been praying about reaching 100 people with this blog and as of today we have 96 subscribers! Praise God for all of you who have dedicated yourself to prayer and hearing of what God is doing through this little plant. Pray for the last 4 people, whoever they are, and share the Restore Church blog on all of your social media networks. The more of God's children dedicated to praying for this venture the better!
The last couple weeks we have been working on the prospectus, or Partner Plan, the design is done with the majority of content plugged in. This week we will add the finishing touches and begin connecting with churches and individuals that we hope to partner with. Pray that God would prepare the hearts of his people to see the need for this new church.
We ran into an issue with the house in Goffstown, the appraisal came back with concern about the front steps having a safety issue so the underwriter said the loan would not be given. After a couple days of working on it a solution was presented that will require the steps being tore out and replaced in the first 10 days of ownership. Keep praying that God would work out these details, the house needs to close no later than March 14 before the bank takes it from the owners.
We enjoy our neighbors here in Milford, God is continuing to give us opportunities to engage them. We were out for dinner this week and began talking with a couple who lives a street over from us. While in conversation we learned some of their religious background. I made a couple comments about the exclusivity of salvation in Jesus and was invited over their house for more conversation. Pray that their hearts would be open to the truth, that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead.
Dan has been researching the legal side of establishing a church over the past month, this week we will be meeting with a lawyer to begin the process. Pray for wisdom as we work through the process.
Ways to Pray
1. The Partner Plan
Pray that God would prepare the hearts of his people to see the need for this new church. Also, pray that the right content would be included as we finalize some decisions.
2. The Clouse House
Pray that God would work out the details around the home repair, and that closing would take place before March 14th.
3. The Gospel and our Neighborhood
Pray that our neighbor's hearts would be open to the truth when we visit with them, and they would see that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead.
4. Legal Process
Pray for wisdom as we work through the process of legally establishing this new church and for our meeting with the Christian lawyer this week.
Your prayers are a blessing to all of us. Know that every prayer touches so many lives and is important to us and our Father who longs to hear from us.
In Christ,
The Clouse's and Dan Beaulieu
