Last week, we asked you to share the blog with your friends and to pray that we would hit our 100 subscriber mark. As of today, we have 106 subscribers! Praise God for this small milestone, and pray that we would now reach 150 subscribers who are willing to join us in prayer!
The Clouse House is beginning to have stacks of boxes in every corner as we keep looking forward to our closing date of March 10. God answered prayer in regards to the issue with the front steps that we mentioned in last weeks update. We were able to get a contractor to submit an estimate to the underwriter for the repair and we are back on track to close!
Staying on theme of houses, we have two other couples in the moving process, one has a contract on a house in Goffstown and another has their house here under contract and looking for a house in Goffstown.
Sarah and I began gathering ideas about how we will be intentional at being neighborly in our new house. We would love to hear from you about ways you are growing relationships with your neighbors. We visited with a family way too late on Saturday night, and I have been lacking sleep for days, so I am tired, but we are excited by the opportunity to continue to grow relationships in our neighborhood.
We are so thankful for what God is doing in and through people in this process. We have had a "fairy box mother" who picks up boxes from the local Market Basket and drops them off just when we are ready for more. We have had an outpouring of support as people have offered to clean our existing house when it's go time, help with renovations with our new home, and watch our kiddos. Last week Jonah and I were able to pick up some chairs from a local church (we don't have a clue where we will end up meeting but that's ok). Thanks everyone! And thanks be to God from whom comes every good and perfect gift!
Ways to Pray
1. The Body of Christ
Praise God for the kindness of so many people, the love that has been shown is a great example of love.
2. Plant Team
Ask God that we would have great insight into who God wants on the Plant Team (more info on this team will be posted soon).
3. Legal Process
We need wisdom in getting the paperwork filed with the State to secure the church name and acquire a EIN number.
4. The Gospel and our Neighborhood
Pray for ways to connect to your neighborhood wherever you are and for those who will soon be moving to Goffstown.
