While Jesus was here on earth, a habit we see in the Gospels was for Him to pray anywhere and anytime. Before He ascended to Heaven, He shared His life of prayer as He taught about prayer, modeled prayer, and prayed with others. As the Body of Christ took shape in the book of Acts, we see this same focus on prayer with 32 occurrences.
“Will you pray constantly, fervently, earnestly for our housing situation? ”
There's an attitude of prayer that the church had in Acts 12:5 that we are going to ask you to take this week for one request. The verse reads, "Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for Him by the church." Will you pray constantly, fervently, earnestly for our housing situation?
The seller in Goffstown needs approval from a bank to sell the house to us. Banks are slow in doing this as they follow their process. We are trying to be patient as we rent our current house in Milford while living in and out of boxes. The other pressure point is interest rates have increased and our mortgage rate that was locked in will expire on Friday.
Pray continually that God would move the bank this week to give the ok to sell the house and we would seek to be faithful followers of Him, whose timing is always perfect!
Update on last weeks requests: The paperwork that we need to file with the state is almost done, waiting on an address to list and getting a few more signatures.
