“Sarah and I sat down tonight both amazed at how open people have been to engaging us in conversation and building relationships.”
Your prayer has enabled us to successfully move into a house that is quickly becoming our home. We thank God for the many people He has sent along to help renovate and speed up the process. This week we have met a lot of neighbors with one couple who explained how two years ago there were no kids in the neighborhood and it was relatively quiet. They said multiple times how excited they were to have our family here in the “hood” (even after they heard we have five children!) Sarah and I sat down tonight both amazed at how open people have been to engaging us in conversation and building relationships.
Today I began my last week at Merrimack Valley Baptist Church as Teen Pastor. I have learned so much over the last 10 years as God has used my family and I there. It’s exciting to look back at how faithful God has been over those years and look forward knowing we can expect the same thing from Him.
As we focus more on the church plant, here is a quick list of things to pray for:
WAYS TO PRAY
1) Financial Support
Financial support is at 60% of the goal for my family. Pray that God would bring along partners and we would see that percentage increase quickly. Our goal is to have a self-sustaining church in less than three years.
2) Wisdom
Pray that God would give us wisdom as we plan the goals for the next few months
3) Plant Team
Pray that the Plant Team meetings will be useful in clearly communicating the vision of what God wants accomplished here in G-town.
4) Moving to Goffstown
We had two couples planning to move into town with us, they have both had huge snags with the process and one is still working hard trying to get here. Pray they can get a house soon!
