The process of church planting is often compared to the human birth process. The conception stage of a church plant is when values, mission, and other important things are established. To move into the next stage, prenatal, one key is for the church planter to be in the area of the new church plant.
This week we started taking that step with beginning work on the house. God has been so good to send along 14 different helpers who have done so many things it is overwhelming. Here's a quick list of things already accomplished: painted, cleaned cabinets, tore out carpet, demolished porch steps, removed old fireplace, and I could go on but to everyone helping and praying: thanks!
WAYS TO PRAY
1) Clouse House
The house has a lot of work that I do not know how to do. Pray that God would bring along the right contractor, and thank God for the helpers He has already brought our way.
2) The Clouses
Pray that our kids would have peace. Strange schedules and hanging out in a house that looks like a bomb went off in is not helpful for them and the rhythm of life they are on.
3) Financial Support
Please continue to pray for our support-raising journey. It goes against my "natural makeup" but God has brought some great connections with people. We are looking forward to having a graphic soon on the Donate page that will explain the progress made.
