One desire I have for Restore Church is that we will be a community who loves to share stories of God working in our lives. Each week I get the privilege of reflecting on God’s little narrative here in Goffstown and share about my life, but, man, would I love to hear from you! A quick email back with a glimpse of God’s story unfolding where you are would be awesome. Finish reading this blog, hit reply, and make me smile.
Last week we had a great evening with a couple that is moving right around the corner from us to help with starting the church. Pray that their house closes as scheduled on June 12.
Melanie in the office at Merrimack Valley Baptist Church completed our “Family Info Card” that we began handing out in the community. These cards have generated some fun conversations, opening the door to explain what Easter is about and another one on Catholic confession and Protestant confession. Pray that God would use this simple tool for us to find people who are interested in getting connected with us.
We are continuing to see God increase our financial support. The donation page will have a slightly different format this week that will display our current support level. Please pray that God would increase the support and that we would trust Him.
My family has set aside one night a week to have a neighbor over. Pray that the family we invited this week would accept the invitation and that we would begin to build a relationship with them. I am always a bit nervous that they might choke on their food when I tell them I am pastor. Pray specifically Colossians 4:5 for us, it reads “Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time.”
