This post will be short glimpses of this past week as we've followed God and called on His power to use every opportunity for Him. As you read each one, stop to pray for the people and the circumstances involved before you move on.
- Tuesday I spent most of the day working on the by-laws and theological statement for the church. Although not the most exciting thing to get done, it was something I should have done weeks ago. Pray that the editing process goes quickly and that we can get the document cleaned up.
- Wednesday I had a great conversation with a store owner about Jesus being the only way to God. Its so exciting to be able to share the gospel! Pray that (S) would be open to spiritual conversation and put her faith in Jesus.
- Thursdays through the summer I am mowing for a landscaper friend. This provides me some of the money we need as I continue to raise support. Pray that two individuals who I have spoken with recently would step up and begin supporting the work here.
- Friday we helped our friends move into their house here in town. They are within walking distance and will be a huge help with the church. Pray that the Johnsons would build meaningful relationships with their neighbors.
- Sunday we attended the local congregational church. It was great to hear the word of God being preached. Thank God for a church in town who is preaching the Word. Ask God to grow their influence in reaching the lost. We need healthy churches to partner with to reach the 25,000 people within a five mile radius of G-town’s downtown!
