This past Monday was one of those days that will go down in the journal and be reflected on many times. We had been waiting a few weeks to get the State to sign off on the incorporation paperwork for the church. After calling the corporation division for an update I learned that a simple $25 fee would expedite the process all the way down to a few minutes.
My family and I headed up to Concord, and a short 45 minutes later we had the official documents in hand. As I left the office I realized I never paid the fee and went back to the clerk to take care of it. She leans in and without any explanation just says, “you’re all set.”
Waiting is not one of my strengths and yet God enabled me to strike up a conversation with a young couple who was starting a business in a neighboring town to G-town. In the first couple minutes of our conversation I learned they had been recently talking about needing to get into church. We were able to exchange contact information, and we hope to see them get involved with Restore.
Pray with great expectation at 9:00pm on Monday and any other time you can that:
1. We can get the basic design plan done this week for Restore so we can roll out the website, and promotional literature.
2. God would bring together the details of our first two Life Groups starting this coming weekend.
3. The Plant Team would be able to make connections in town with people who are open to spiritual things.
4. We would be able to nail down the dates for some outreach events this summer. We are trying to partner with the town on helping with a few things they have going on.
God is using your prayer for his glory, keep on!
