If you have been a Christian for any length of time undoubtedly you have heard much on the topic of prayer. My experience has been the same with many impassioned messages, conferences, books, articles, and blogs on the topic. All these things are great, but if we are honest with ourselves the amount of time actually spent in prayer privately and with others does not even come close to the total amount of time spent learning about prayer.
We want to help put all that knowledge to good use with Prayer at 9.
Our hope is that Prayer at 9 will grow your time in prayer as you pray for Restore Church. Don’t expect blogs about prayer, FAQ’s about prayer, videos on prayer or even gifts from us for the time you take praying!
Prayer at 9 is simple.
Every Monday at 9:00 PM our circle of praying believers will stop wherever we are, whatever we're doing, to pray for Restore Church.
If you're interested in making sure you never miss these updates and prayer request lists, subscribe to our email notifications at the bottom of this page.
To prepare for that time of prayer, Mondays at 8:00 AM we will post an update praising God for what He has done and sharing a list of requests for things we are expecting Him to do. We will keep the prayer list short so when 9:00 PM rolls around a collective group from all over the Granite State, country, and maybe even the world will be praying, maybe even for 9 minutes. Our hope is that setting a time for us all to pray and sharing a few specific and immediate needs of the church will encourage all of us to rally together as a community in one of the greatest benefits we have as Christians: prayer.
We know that prayer is powerful. It's an exercise of our faith to stop our efforts for even just a moment to speak to the One who knows all things and has the power to do all things, to thank Him for who He is and what He has done and to come to Him as His children, making our requests known to Him. It is a step of faith, but we know we are at the cusp of God doing amazing things in Goffstown because of your prayers.
